BAIT CAST AND CREW PREMIERE

November 23rd 2023

Last Friday, GMAC Film hosted the cast and crew premiere of ‘Bait’.

BAIT CAST ANNOUNCEMENT

September 5th 2023

Glynis Wozniak will play the part of Jean.

Glynis shared her initial reaction when approached for the role: “My first thoughts when I was invited to play Jean was ‘She’s old. How can I play old when I feel so young?’. But then I remembered, it was a film by David C. Murphy, and I love his work, and with the opportunity to be vulnerable, I had to say yes. I also loved the story arc and the crew were amazing at holding the space for my vulnerability.”

BAIT CAST ANNOUCEMENT

August 29th 2023

Sasha MacPherson will play the part of Kate.

Reflecting on her time in the role, Sasha said: “I loved working on ‘Bait’. There was an abundance of talent to play against and a lot of new people I’d happily work with again. It was even easier coming on board after reading David’s great script which we were able to bring it to life in a fun and safe environment, especially given the nature of the topic we were filming about.”

BAIT CAST ANNOUNCEMENT

August 24th 2023

Ronan Doyle will play the part of Tom.

Ronan said this of his role in the film:: “Bait was great fun to work on! My favourite characters to work on are those with layers and a handful of different motivations. David wrote a fantastic character for me and one who I hugely enjoyed playing around with.”

BAIT CAST ANNOUCEMENT

August 22nd 2023

John McQuiston will play the part of Charles.

This is what John wanted to say about being cast in the film: “When I was cast and after reading the script, having worked with David previously, I knew that this was going to be a huge challenge to tell a very hard hitting and extremely relevant story that would test the abilities of the cast and crew.”

BAIT SHORT FILM COMING SOON

August 22nd 2023

FIRST REVIEW IS IN

March 18th 2021

Left: A Dating App Love Story has been reviewed by Vlad A.G of Feel The Reel International Film Festival. Here is what he had to say:

Ross Warner does a fantastic work portraying Jack, a young man with high hopes of finding love at every corner, being the youngsters’ prototype nowadays trying to skip the chit-chat and find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. ‘Left’ is not just a short fiction film, but a sociologic case study that deserves to be in every film enthusiast’s spotlight.”
